Katherine Warlich
Executive Director
Katherine Warlich is the Executive Director of The Family Place and a dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE). She graduated from Georgian College’s Early Childhood Education Program on the Dean's List in 2015 and has built a diverse career in early childhood education. Katherine’s journey includes roles as an Outdoor Nature Based Preschool Educator (2015), Private Preschool/Toddler Educator (2018), and Program Coordinator (2021). She is passionate about lifelong learning, fostering strong bonds between children and their families, and understanding the vital role that family, culture, and community play in child development.
Born in Lahr, Germany, Katherine was raised in various military communities, including Angus, Petawawa, and Barrie, Ontario. She moved to Sutton in 2020 with her husband and their two daughters. Outside of work, Katherine enjoys reading, listening to audiobooks, true crime podcasts, and music.
